FLL All-Star Roundup: Majors stay alive, 11s lose first game in extras

The Flagstaff Little League (FLL) All-Star Majors survived to play another day in the Arizona State Little League Tournament with a game-winning out at home in an elimination game victory against the District 14 (Gilbert) champion East Mesa Little League on Tuesday night, 4-3

With the tying run on third and the winning run on second, East Mesa was knocked out of the tournament when it attempted to score on a ground ball. Flagstaff had scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the fourth when Ty Palmer stole second and third before an RBI groundout from Landon Brown.
