Update (August 7): The Coconino National Forest announced Friday that the Hart Fire has been mapped at 13 acres in size, and stated that the fire is “burning atop the rim in a rugged inaccessible steep cliff area.”
The fire is located eight miles northwest of Sedona, 1.5 miles north of the Palatki Heritage Site, and about three miles south of the Secret Mountain Trailhead.
