One man died and another man was transported to the Flagstaff Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries following a shooting Wednesday morning outside the Elevation Luxury Apartments in east Flagstaff, the Flagstaff Police Department (FPD) confirmed.
The hospitalized individual is allegedly the person who shot — and was shot by — the deceased individual. At the scene, FPD Public Relations Sergeant Jerry Rintala said there was no outstanding suspects and no ongoing threat to the public.
The Flagstaff Police Department (FPD) is investigating a homicide near the Elevation Apartments at the corner of North Mall Way and East Marketplace Drive. According to FPD Public Relations Sergeant Jerry Rintala, an alleged shooting altercation between two men around 9:22 a.m. Wednesday morning resulted in the death of one man while the other is receiving medical attention at the Flagstaff Medical Center. Rintala confirmed there was no suspect at large and there was no threat to the community.
