The Grand Canyon Conservancy announced that the APS Foundation has committed $1 million toward the redesign and rebuilding of the North Kaibab Trailhead in Grand Canyon National Park.
The North Kaibab Trailhead is the primary access point for the only maintained corridor trail from the North Rim to the bottom of the canyon, and frequently experiences overcrowding and congestion during peak visitation times. The total project cost is estimated at $4.8 million. No construction is expected to begin until 2028 or 2029.
