APS restores power in Valle and Grand Canyon; crews patrolling powerlines of remaining communities

Arizona Public Service (APS) announced it restored power to Valle and locations in and around Grand Canyon National Park on Wednesday afternoon, less than 12 hours after a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) was implemented.

Power for Valle and its 236 impacted customers was restored at 2:20 p.m. while the 151 affected customers around Grand Canyon National Park were restored at 4:30 p.m.
