Coconino County announced it received national recognition for its public service, earning six awards from the National Association of Counties (NACo) and the Center for Digital Government.
The NACo Achievement Awards honor county government programs that strengthen services, improve operations and enhance residents’ quality of life. Coconino County received recognition in five different areas: Pipeline post-wildfire flood mitigation, Dragon Bravo-White Sage fires long-term recovery plan, the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council’s Justice Bus, Citizens Academy and Children of Incarcerated Parents Activity Book.
