Coconino County takes next step in acquisition of Gonzalez Ranch Lake property in Williams

More than three years since the process began, Coconino County is inching closer to completing its acquisition of Gonzalez Ranch Lake in Williams.

During its meeting Tuesday, April 14, the Coconino County Board of Supervisors set the stage for the property to be conveyed from the Trust for Public Land (TPL) once the current owners finalized their donation. With TPL recently informing the county that it expects the first step in the process to be completed in May, the board approved a land conservation services agreement and a donation agreement.
