No. 12-ranked Flagstaff baseball clinched the Grand Canyon Region title in extra-inning, walk-off fashion over No. 27 Coconino on Wednesday. Facing off for the second time in three days, the Eagles completed the crosstown season sweep with a 9-8 victory in nine innings at Eagle Field.
Flagstaff senior Brody Johnson got a heroic last hurrah in the crosstown matchup, driving in the walk-off run with a single to right field to drive in junior Will Carpenter.
