Flagstaff City Council adopts updates to meeting procedures

The Flagstaff City Council voted Tuesday, April 7, to adopt a variety of mostly minor amendments to its rules of procedure.

None of the changes will fundamentally alter the way its meetings operate. There are, however, new guidelines aiming to limit city council discussion of future agenda item requests and narrow the permissible scope of councilmembers’ statements during the “Informational Items” portion of the meeting.
