The Flagstaff City Council heard a presentation on the implementation plan for the next year of work toward the city’s 10-year housing plan during its meeting on Tuesday, June 9. In the coming year, the city is planning to continue work on its in-progress and longer term strategies to further affordable housing efforts in Flagstaff.
Flagstaff approved the 10-year plan to address the city’s housing needs in 2022, following the declaration of a housing emergency in late 2020. The plan includes more than 50 strategies designed to help Flagstaff halve its housing need over the course of a decade.
