Flagstaff Event Almanac for June 30

AMERICAN FLAG RETIREMENT EVENT Thankfully, many homeowners proudly fly their flag. Yet as flags become worn or torn, they need to be replaced. Flag etiquette calls for their “dignified retirement.” Continental Country Club is hosting an event now thru July 3 in conjunction with the American Legion to collect and property dispose of old flags. Simply drop off at the clubhouse on Oakmont. This event is open to all in the Flagstaff area.
