HSNAZ assists over 500 northern Arizona families through down payment assistance programs

Housing Solutions of Northern Arizona (HSNAZ) recently celebrated a milestone as the 500th household receiving aid from its down payment assistance programs across the region closed on their new home.

The nonprofit has continued add to that total in the weeks since and is now at 507 families who have received down payment assistance, with another eight under contract to purchase a home in the next month and a half as of May 28. CEO Devonna McLaughlin said summer tends to be a busier time of year for the program, so this isn’t the typical pace, though HSNAZ has plans to continue offering the program as long as there is funding.
