The Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) recently released its high school football schedules for the upcoming 2026 season. Flagstaff and Coconino’s football teams will each play 10 games throughout the regular season, which starts in late August and runs through the end of October.
The two local teams will have an even split of five home games and five away games. This year’s city rivalry game between the Eagles and Panthers is set for Friday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. at Cromer Stadium. Coconino will go for its 10th consecutive win over Flagstaff in football, a streak that began in 2017.
