Looking at recent teacher retention efforts from Coconino County and its largest school district

Coconino County and the Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) have been making recent collective efforts toward increasing teacher recruitment and retention in northern Arizona, trying to find new ways to ensure teachers feel supported and valued.

The county stretches almost 19,000 square miles with more than 100 schools scattered across different cities and districts. FUSD is the largest district in the county.
