National Weather Service issues flood advisory for Flagstaff through Monday afternoon

As monsoon storms are underway in Flagstaff, the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Bellemont issued a flood advisory that is in effect until 2:45 p.m. on Monday afternoon.

Flooding caused by the current excessive rainfall is expected in downtown Flagstaff. Northern Arizona University, Railroad Springs, Coconino Estates, Flagstaff Ranch, Riordan Mansion State Historic Park and A One Lake. This also includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 194 and 196 and Route 66 between mile markers 193 and 196.
