Northland Preparatory baseball came into its game Friday afternoon with a lack of focus, at least according to manager Nick Cosper. However, watching the Spartans versus Spartans battle between 2A No. 19-ranked NPA and 1A No. 14 Ash Fork/Seligman told a different story. NPA scored 17 runs in the bookend innings to win, 19-5, after five innings at Continental Park.
Cosper said the team regrouped after the first pitch, with his depth players getting a chance to shine.
