The Flagstaff and Coconino rivalry always means a little bit extra. While the games count just as much as any other, having both the Eagles and Panthers square off on the diamond brings about a different energy.
That was the case for Flagstaff senior first baseman Trey Parker, who spent his first three years of high school playing for Coconino. Parker went 2 for 4 with two RBIs and a towering solo home run in the fifth inning to add to No. 14-ranked Flagstaff’s 10-2 win in his return to No. 24 Coconino’s field on Monday.
