Sandbag cleanup operations for Sunnyside and Grandview Homes begin May 26

The City of Flagstaff will launch a one-time sandbag cleanup operation throughout the Sunnyside and Grandview Homes neighborhoods.

Residents of Sunnyside and Grandview Homes are instructed to move their sandbags debris to the curb — within the city’s right-of-way — in front of their property. Crews from the City of Flagstaff will remove the sandbag debris between May 26 and June 8. Residents who want to remove their sandbag debris earlier can bring them to the city’s Cinder Lake Landfill at 6770 East Landfill Road. The city will waive the landfill fee for all sandbag debris. A copy of a resident’s municipal water bill will be required for address verification.
