For the first time in four years, Northern Arizona University’s women’s golf departed Flagstaff for the NCAA Regional Championship. The Lumberjacks earned their spot in the tournament after claiming the 2026 Big Sky Conference Championship last month, winning the title by five strokes.
The regional tournament in Waco, Texas, was set to begin on Monday and play through Wednesday at Ridgewood Country Club (par 72, 6,094 yards), with Baylor serving as the host institution. Ridgewood has been one of central Texas’s premier golf destinations since 1947, featuring a scenic course overlooking Lake Waco with rolling hills, elevated bentgrass greens and challenging bermuda grass fairways.
