Coconino County seeking public comment on Hazard Mitigation Plan

Coconino County Emergency Management has released a draft 2026 Coconino County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan for public review and comment.

This comprehensive plan identifies natural hazards that pose risks to communities across Coconino County and outlines strategies to reduce long-term vulnerability. The plan was developed through a collaborative process and includes participation from Coconino County; the cities of Flagstaff, Page and Williams; the towns of Tusayan and Fredonia; and Northern Arizona University, along with other stakeholders and partner agencies.
