Less than a week remains before the City of Flagstaff’s vote-by-mail-only special election, with voters deciding whether or not to ratify the adoption of the Flagstaff Regional Land Use Plan 2045 as the new general plan for the city.
No polling places will be available on May 19’s Election Day; all eligible registered voters in the City of Flagstaff automatically received ballots in the mail in late April. The Coconino County Recorder’s Office had recommended ballots be placed in the mail by May 11, so voters are encouraged to return their ballots in person at early voting locations or drop them off in one of the 10 drop boxes located around Flagstaff.
