Flagstaff will be the home of a mixed martial arts event, one that has been in the works for more than a year.
Monster Promotions is putting together Cinco de Monster 2, the second installment of the local Muay Thai event. This year, it will take place at Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort on Saturday, with fights starting at 3:30 p.m. There are 24 matchups tentatively scheduled for Cinco de Monster 2, with the fight card subject to change. This year’s list of fighters ranges from ages 8 to 36. A handful of young fighters are making their amateur fighting debuts in their hometown.
