Final day to register for primary election set for June 22

With the primary for the Flagstaff City Council a month away, the deadline to register is set for Monday, June 22 and ballots will be mailed out as early voting begins on Wednesday, June 24.

For the first time since time since 2014, the city council race will require a primary as six of the seven candidates in the race will advance to the general election in November. Incumbents Austin Aslan, Khara House and Lori Matthews are running for reelection while Nancy Baca, Patty Hansen, C.J. Lucke and Drew Stanley are challenging for the three seats.
