Letter to the Editor: Seeking a community forum for council candidates

To be an informed voter, it is important for the electorate to have complete information about the candidates and their positions on various issues. I do appreciate the Daily Sun’s efforts to provide such information through the series of articles entitled “Candidates Forum Questions.” I look forward to reviewing the candidates’ responses during the coming months before the November election.

Saturday’s topic asked the candidates how they would communicate with the people. All the candidates provided good homogeneous and polished answers –e.g., attending community meetings and events, frequenting local businesses, etc. Their responses really did not tell us much.
