In less than a month the vote for or against the Flagstaff 2045 Regional Plan will be here. Hopefully, the citizens of Flagstaff will have taken the time to study and consider the implications of this plan.
Put simply, the plan has a long wish list being presented as immediately necessary and even urgently required for our future. Less attention is being put on the financial aspects. There are more wishes than there is money. Prudent people have a budget and examine the income versus the outgo. We just do not have the money to support this plan. It is very unwise to mortgage our futures to provide for present desires.
