A pair of Red Flag Warnings were issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Bellemont on Friday morning, covering much of the northern Arizona region on Saturday or Sunday.
Saturday’s warning, issued for 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, noon to 9 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time, covers the Coconino Plateau, western Mogollon Rim and Yavapai County. The area includes portions of the Coconino, Kaibab and Prescott national forests.
