The development process for a proposed new hotel and parking garage in downtown Flagstaff is back in motion after the city’s Heritage Preservation Commission imposed a delay of demolition and the city council reversed that decision on an appeal.
While the commission’s prior meetings were focused on the existing building at 19 W. Birch Ave., which once served as Flagstaff City Hall, the meeting on July 15 focused on the design of the buildings that will take its place.
