An election challenge filed on April 6 against former Arizona Rep. Eric Descheenie has led to his withdrawal from the race for Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District.
According to the Arizona Secretary of State’s list of candidate withdrawals, Descheenie was removed as a candidate on Wednesday, April 15. This came on the same day that the election challenge filed in Maricopa County Superior Court was withdrawn by Beverly Berg and a day after a status conference took place on the case in front of Judge Christopher Whitten.
