Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management to continue community cleanup event

The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management (DFFM) is launching a weeklong cleanup effort to support multiple Flagstaff-area communities with its annual Firewise Community Cleanup program.

DFFM hand crews and operations staff began work in Kachina Village, Mountainaire, Munds Park and Pine Del to this week to assist residents by collecting bags of tree trimmings, pine needles and other vegetation that had been cleared and bagged by homeowners as part of their wildfire risk reduction efforts.
