Continued devotion to exposing engineering students to environmental science in northern Arizona

The Willow Bend Environmental Education Center invited northern Arizona high schools to the Coconino Center for the Arts to join the annual KidWind Challenge, an event that engages students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) through wind energy.

The challenge has continued to be an essential part of the thriving STEM education community in Flagstaff, enhancing in- and out-of-class instruction and improving students’ understanding of environmental science.
