Letter to the Editor: Thankful for city council candidate questions

Just writing to thank you for local coverage of our elections. I was listening to an NPR story today about the lack of local newspaper outlets leaving voters with very little information on local candidates. This leaves them with very little information to base their vote on. I really appreciate your Q&A in the paper on various topics with all those running for city council this election giving me the ability to make an informed decision.
