About nine months after first appearing in City of Flagstaff’s planning documents, a few more steps have been taken in the effort to bring a new tenant to the corner of South Milton Road and South Plaza Way.
A commercial building permit for Dave’s Hot Chicken was submitted to the City of Flagstaff on April 1. The submission, listed for the parcel at 1205 S. Milton Road in the city’s property and planning map, came a little more than two months after a site plan was approved, according to the city’s list of development approvals. The project shifted from its concept plan review in July 2025 to a site plan review in September 2025, with the substantive review following in November 2025.
