Eight middle school students from the Montessori School of Flagstaff (MSF) recently attended the Montessori Model United Nations (MMUN) conference in New York City to discuss complex global issues affecting foreign countries.
Over the course of two days, the small group of Montessori students from Flagstaff joined more than 2,000 other students from around the world at the MMUN conference to represent a foreign nation and demonstrate their understanding of complex issues such as human genome and editing, human rights of migrants and children, and armed conflicts.
